Hell Guys and Girls and all you alternative people as well

I do not know if this the right spot but I have a question regarding values on the following tow rifles

1. FN FAL 7.62 G series , immaculate condition I fired the first 50 rounds though it and that was a month or two ago - should I use it abuse it or keep it in oil or sell it ?

2. Heckler & Koch G3 - gauranteed unfired as brand new bought and never used value ? and the same questions as above

Walter my old friend,

They are worth absolutely nothing. You should send them to me and I'll field test them on some of these little Virginia Whitetails. Wink

Seriously, are you coming stateside this winter? If so, look me up. beer

Cheers

Walter, hard to say about South Africa values sitting here in Texas. In Texas however they would be worth a good bit I believe. You should probably check on the specialist Fn and HK boards for values on both of them.

Thanks Browningguy

I am unfortunately of the opinion to just shoot these guns but the guys at my gun club is horrified at the idea, unfortunately I already fired the FAL, but the G3 not they ( and are they not always the wiser) tells me I devalued the weapon for firing it ?

Now I know that there were a lot of these made but apparently originals and unfired is hens teeth

Thanks for the info

The G3 is worth some good money. Most of the people who want them though are in the US, and since you cannot import them any longer it makes them worth money only in RSA. Going rate in the US is around $3,000 depending on model. Is there a big gun market there?? When I was over there, I remember there was strict laws on guns and primers even.

Mink and Wall Tents don't go together. Especially when you are sleeping in the Wall Tent.
