I have a Ruger Model 77 (7mm mag) with serial 3 70-274XX Can someone tell me the date it was manufactured? | ||

I don't know of any serial number starting with 3. They generally start with 70 or 770. If it's a 70-274xx, it would be a 1971. Here's the link to Ruger for that one: http://ruger.com/service/productHistory/RI-M77.html If you have a 3 as the start, you might want to post a picture and a request on www.rugerforum.com There are some serious Ruger guys on there that are really into detail.
