German .22lr autoloaders?

I saw an old Walther autoloader at my gunsmith's shop, it was an old Walther in a new stock. The gunsmith had put quite some effort behind this and wanted SEK20000, i.e. USD2000, for the gun which is a bit hard to pay for a .22lr.

But I fell deeply in love with the mechanism, it is no toy like the ruger 10/22 or the rem 597. It has a combined bolt action and autoloader which was truly amazing, if the bolt was turned only halfway down it worked as an autoloader, otherwise it would work as a bolt action gun!

So, dear beloved readers of this post: your mission is to tell me where I can get such a mechanism so that I can build my own rifle around it. I'm no gunsmith but I'll do my best to make a wonderful gun with whatever skills and equipment I have.

Any clues or hints?

Regards,
HerrBerg
