Tony. Parry Firearms Company of Ithaca made pretty good feild grade shotsguns, and was purchased by Wilkes-Barre Gun Company of Ithaca in 1891, which was in turn purchased by the Ithaca Gun Company in 1895. If there is no Wilkes-Bare stamp the gun was made after 1880 but before 1890. I would guess that the gun is worth $100 to $200, but frankly I don't recall ever seeing a nice one, which would probably be worth more. Sorry, but this is all I can remember. N. |

| The gun has a patent date stamp on it Nov. 8, 90 which I assumes is 1890. The forearm, barrels and receiver have the number 404 stamped in them. The barrels also have the letter "L" stamped between them on the underside. There is another number 14700 and another marking I cannot make out one of the barrels. The stock and forearm are checkered and there is engraving on the metal parts. |
