We have created this forum so that important information about hunting in Africa can be found in one place.

This is a READ ONLY forum, so any questions you might have please post them in the relevant Forum.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The general idea behind this new Forum is two fold:

1. Move most of the topics I have pinned to the top of the Hunting Reports - Africa Forum to this forum (such as the Tips and Packing List, Rules Regarding Traveling with Firearms, etc.). The Hunting Reports - Africa Forum is not really the best place for those topics.

2. Over the next several weeks, I hope to open a new topic for each country in Africa where safaris are conducted. Under each topic, I will put country specific information such as:

Hunting season
Hunting laws
Firearms import requirements
Health/vaccination requirements
Visa requirements
CITES requirements
Description of concession types (ranch, government, etc.)
Weather
Specific equipment needs
List of PHs (if available)
Link to Government website
Link to State Department Country Profile
Link to PH governing body website (if available)
Hunting statistics
Maps
etc.
