Is there someone here who does a good job of checkering ivory grip panels for a 1911 pattern pistol?

A touchy subject when it comes to ivory as long as it did not come from an elephant and it it did, is covered by some convincing documentation.

Ivory is not particularily easy to checker....fluvio pointed out issues...I'd get the fake stuff...Looks exactly like the real thing, checkers nicely and no drama.

thanks, mine did and I have documentation. I may just continue to leave them smooth
