I was shooting my Browning Rage today at the Bow range. The bow is only two months old, anyhow I shot for about an hour and half. Me and my buddy were about to call it a day and I decided to shoot one last time. I nocked an arrow pulled my Bow back to full draw and that is when it made a loud pop. My left side of my face was numb and my right hand was stinging pretty bad. I looked at the bow strings were hanging the limbs were cracked my sights bubble was gone and one of the pins was broke. So me and my buddy headed up to Tuscon to the Sportsman Warehouse that is were I bought it. They looked at and we thought the string snapped were the peep site was but the guy looked at and the string snapped were it rode on the wheel or cam. Anyhow he told me PSE doesn't warranty the strings and I might have to buy new limbs for it. I told him if PSE does that throw the damn thing in the trash can and I will buy another bow I looked at a couple of 05 Bow-Techs. I told him I would be back to buy one. The folks at Sportsman warehouse were pretty good about it. The guy said if he had another left handed Browning he would of swapped it out for mine. But he said Sportsman warehouse is not carrying the Browning Rage anymore so that had no more. The thing of it I paid 319 for it now it looks like I will have to spend about 500 for the Bow-tech I'm looking at. Hell that is 800 bucks I could of used and bought one of the new 06 Bow-tech Allegiance. I will find out Monday what PSE is going to do. They said if PSE will send them a new one they will give store credit towards another Bow. But it looks like I'm done with Browning and PSE bows. Bad luck. I've had two strings break while shooting. Both broke after release with no bow damage. The only damage was to my shooting form for the next few days after restringing.lol "I'm smiling because they haven't found the bodies."

If the bow was that new and was as provided by the factory and the factory won't do anything for you, then you got screwed by some unethical assholes. The factory supplied the bowstring which was defective. They should back the whole package for a more reasonable time. I've had PSE's and they were good. I've seen Browning's dealing with a lot of gun warranties, and because if that I will not ever buy a new Browning. I am sorry to learn that Browning has anything participation in PSE. RELOAD - ITS FUN!

If PSE doesn't cover the damages, then do what you will with it, and get a martin. I'm not super brand loyal, but you can't argue with their warranty. Just don't buy it off ebay. Martin monitors ebay, and they will not provide warranty services for bows purchased off ebay. mike

The fellas at Sportsman Warehouse called me this morning and told me that they are going to give me store credit on the bow they weren't even going to call PSE cause they already knew what there answer was going to be. So it looks like I'm going to buy a Bow-Tech allegiance. John Handmade paracord rifle slings: paracordcraftsbypatricia@gmail.com

Sounds like PSE is not the brand to buy in future. I have an older Mathews and an Allegiance. Both are good bows. I never had to test the warranty, though. Good Luck, Don_G ...from Texas, by way of Mason, Ohio and Aurora, Colorado!
