I went to Ill a few days ago and hunted on a friend’s farm. I saw several nicer bucks than the one that I shot but couldn’t get them within bow range. The third day this 10-point finally came within range and boy was I glad. Another buddy got a nice 8-point on the second day. My 10-pointer has one broken tine but enough was left to call it a point. This makes no 3 so far for the year for me. It should have been no 4 but my bow developed a problem after it fell out of my truck when I opened the door. I went hunting thinking it was OK and missed a small buck that morning at 30 yards. A trip to the bow shop fixed the problem.
The 10-point weighed in at 240 lbs The 8-point weighed in at 224 lbs.
