Turtle,

I've yet to take a deer that nice. No mature bucks to be found where I haunt. Someday I suppose but I suspect I will have to go out of state. Anyway, you got a neat wall hanger there.

You q'ing up some feline ribs?

That is what everyone says . You do have deer that nice but you have to go out when noone else will . I shot this one in 60mph winds when everyone said "say home" .
It pays to be foolish .

Oh, but I do! In fact, this last season I got a 200 pound plus doe on a good 3/4 mile stalk in 30 MPH winds. I don't think I could do a 60 MPH hunt though. I'd be worried about getting hit by falling tree branches, etc. Very brave of you though!!!!

My state has too much of a "brown it's down attitude". Lotta deer but mostly youngins running around here.

Some day I will relate the story here. Falling trees and all . Brave? Hell I was scared off my butt sitting in a death trap called a climbing stand .

Nice Doe BTW

Hey Turtle, by "big guys" did you mean trophy bucks or trophy men?
