| Alpine makes a softlock quiver that has a lock you can screw into the tree or one that wireties to your stand, the locks cost extra, about 16.oo each.I use it and like it better then any quiver out there. |

I'm with you I hate bow mounted quivers. They don't make the one I have anymore but it's like this. Cabelas Hip QuiverI use a utility belt strap with the quick snap buckle to hold it on my hip. The belt portion of a utility belt is under $10 at hardware stores. I stitched the quiver with a couple of small stitches to the belt to keep the quiver from sliding around. Taking the quiver on and off is literally a snap! Works great and good bye to bow mounted quiver torque. Tarantula also makes a good one. |

| I use one made by Trautmans leather products. It's just a simple dog leg shaped piece of leather that accepts most std bow quivers/brackets and fits on any belt.I use the Quickee Quiver with it.In tree stands I use the QQ screw in bracket.I'm not sure if they're still available but it works great. If not try some of the trad gear outfits like Three Rivers or Kustom King. They all have some side quivers available. |

| I just knew a $1.39 bungee cord from the nearest truck stop would be too simple to work.

| I always had to watch for arrows in my mounted quiver over the top part of the climber. I flipped the quiver around, now the fletching points up - problem solved.
I don't really like the quiver on the bow, but I don't feel like dealing with one more loose item when hunting. |

| I have tried every kind of quiver there is, back, hip, side, St. Charles, multiple kinds of most of them and I use a bow quiver. I don't like bow quivers either, BUT I have less problems with them than any of the other kind. If you only hunt in open fields, you can probably get by with some of the other designs, but as soon as you start crawling through brush and vines or you have to do a crawl stalk or you wear a back or day pack all the other designs don't work. Most people find that bows don't shoot the same without the bow quiver on, so I leave it on all the time, I'm not going to restrict my hunting to a treestand. |

| I agree there are times when the bow quiver is best so I have the QQ bracket's on the compound and recurve.I've been using this quiver for years so I've learned to shoot both with it on or off.Cant say as I notice much difference shooting with it one way or the other. |

| I have used a cat quiver for years and love it. I too hate arrows on the bow.
