You bow people that have hunted the Elk. Have any of you used the Satellite Titan broad-head to harvest a Elk. I have some 125 grain Titans and was wondering how the would perform on Elk. How will they hold together? And how was the recovery? Thanks, farmboy9

I have bow hunted and killed elk with my bow. I have used both Titans and Thunderheads. They worked equally well. I use mostly Thunderheads now because they are easy to find. I use 100 grain heads. I have killed a big buck with a 125 grain Titans where the arrow actualy shot THROUGH the shoulder blade and into the vitals. The deer died withing 30 yards! This was bad placement on my part but it is nice to know the broadhead stood up to it. I spined a deer on purpose also with a 125grain Titan. The Broadhead broke the back and literally went into the spine.
