That's a good tip about the great stuff. My deer probably last a long time, though, i'm afraid of busting arrows by shooting more than one at a time into it.

Ann about the feed sacks, i had noticed that they seem like same material as the covering on the store bought targets. I was thinking about making a portable to take in the woods and practice shooting through branches, but i didn't know what to fill it with. Old clothes, huh???? Have to give that a try. We have ducks and they go through about 100# corn every 3 weeks, so i have plenty of those white feed sacks. In fact, i had wondered about shooting them WITH the corn in there? Wouldn't be portable, but you might be able to shoot a lot of field points before the corn would start to come through.
