I hate tosay it as well after the second "Buck Feaver" experiance, I would have had a serious heart to heart chat about the DG.
I myself won't hunt most of the big 5 with a bow or the big bears. Not because the bow isn't "good" enough, because it most definatly is but because I don't have the hanggy down things to get that close Besides the string gun dosn't have the knocjdown power that might be needed as stated above.
As a dedicated bowhunter, I understand my limitations and will work within them for a clean quick kill.
I plan on Leopard and Cougar hunting and also Black Bear with the bow at some time but nothing bigger.
