I have a Kwikee that I bought by mistake thinking the mounting brackets were interchangeable. It has some kind of rubber stuff that protects the points and edges but doesn't get cut up like foam.

Thanks all -- ended up getting the Bohning Lynx since I already had the mounting brackets on the bow and in the case. Doesn't make any change in noise or POI -- none that I can detect, anyway, and is nice and slim.

I hunted close to 30 days last year with my Alpine soft loc, and never a problem. It's a good one.

Kwikee or Soft Loc are both good choices. I believe the Kwikee is lighter, so if you leave your quiver on all the time while hunting, that might be a consideration.
