Hello all, this is my second post, but I read all the time.
OK, I have a fred bear reaper split limb single cam bow. I have the tiller set correctly,(I checked it and had a pro check it.) I have my peep served in, my arrow rest and knocking point are also correct (1/16" above center).
Now all that said, at 25 yrds. I have to raise my sight complex all the way up and the top pin almost to the top in order to hit the target were I aim. This bow shoots tight groups but I have the sight complex all the way up and think there must be something wrong? does anybody have any ideas or suggestions?
P.S. I bought the bow from a co-worker who bought it off of a cable show called bargain world, and think it might be a factory reject, He paid $90.00 for it.
Thanks for any help Rod.

If your happy with a max of 25 yards, leave it be. You may have to move your peep or anchor point if you need to shoot farther.
Give it a try you can always put it back. Those bear bows adjust easy. TVC15

If the knock height is correct, then try lowering the peep.

Look at the arrows before pulling them out of the target. If they are crooked, slanted or at an angle other than straight in the target, then the bow is not tuned correctly. You can also shoot the arrows through a blank sheet of paper and look at the holes in the paper. This is called paper tuning the bow. If the entry hole is not exactly in the center of the 3 fletching slits, then the bow is not tuned properly.

Google "paper tuning compund bow" and you will get several good pages of how to do this and how to read the tears in the paper.

I paper tuned today and found it tailing low, changed my nocking point and then had to move my peep back up a bit, shoots great.
Thanks to all of you, Rod

I'm glad you got it figured out Fred. When does season open for you, are you planning to hunt with it?

October first is opening day and that is why I was trying to get it tuned. This will be my first deer hunt and my first bow hunt. Where I am here in Duncan,Ok all the land is private owner and I was just invited to my boss' place in Rush Springs about 25 miles north of me.They have the feeders out the food plot planted and growing well and stand and blinds all around the area.Setup looks good and there has been heavy deer traffic in the area for over a month.
Can't wait to get an opertunity to stick one.
