i'm thinkin of getting a 120 lb commando style crossbow as my next projectile launching toy....... anyone have any advice?

They are fun! I had the PSE Foxfire a long time ago and hunted deer in Ohio with it when my shoulder was messed up. I killed four with it. I think this was the best for accuracy because the arrow was on a rest like a regular bow, more or less. There was no groove the arrow had to ride. I find crossbows with an arrow groove very hard to get broadheads to shoot straight. With the Foxfire I could put 6 broadhead tipped arrows in an apple (small apple)offhand at 40 yds.
Let us know what you get with a broadhead.

I am looking for a crossbow to use Deer hunting I can no longer shoot a compound due to back surgery and a lifetime 30lb weight restriction. I need one with 150lbs of pull with a crank/wench built in so I can cock it. Any Suggestions?

I now live in WV where they are not legal to hunt with even if confined to a wheelchair. I can't understand it. Prevents a lot of people that can't shoot a bow from participating in archery season.

excalibur has a small hand winch that mounts on all its models its called a crankeroo they also have a smaller
load assister that is a rope with a couple of small
pulleys that works very well, its a necessity with their
