I have never hunted whitetail, but for hunting mulies and elk out here, I have found that no scent is the best scent. When I did try scents they only seemed to draw an animals attention to me. I only hunt from the ground, so I don't want to draw attention. I do use Scent Killer products from Wildlife Research and I feel they help to some degree.
