Just in case some of you aren't up to speed. There is a new archery company out there and I'm excited !!! Last fall, Kevin Strother who was Bowtech's head designer parted ways with them. He married Kate (one of the Martin girls), and Kate decided to start a new archery company called Elite. Their bows look to be everything that Bowtech should have been with none of the problems. I owned an '05 Allegiance and know from experience of some of the potential problems. Not trying to badmouth Bowtech, but they need to address a few issues such as cam lean and billet limb problems. In spite of these, Bowtechs are fast, accurate and one of the top bows out there. Anyways, back to the story. Elite bows will use a binary cam type system and Barnsdale custom laminated limbs, the best limbs in the business. They will also come with Winners Choice strings, limbsavers and string leeches. The camo is by Mothwing and will have a new proprietary clear rubber coating for protection of the finish, silence and warmth for the bowhand. You will have your choice of 1 or 2 piece handgrips. These bows are modular in 1/2" increments and come with either "fast" or "smooth" modules. IBO speeds are considerably faster than comparable model Bowtechs and the draw curve is smooth. They are scheduled to start shipping in a couple of weeks and I can hardly wait !!! If anyone has any questions about them, please feel free to ask on this thread or PM me, I'll do whatever I can to help.

I will stick with my 06 Bow-Tech Allegiance. I have heard the rumors or stories or what ever you want to call it. About this guy and how he parted ways with bow-tech.
