HA!HA!HA! I wonder if the piss ran down his leg...... Fortunately it was just a field point....... Oh, that was better than coffee.... Thanks OP. Mike73
Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong;
Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

Mike73 that is hardcore, but I laughed out loud when I read your post.
Looks like the guy in the pic was near to help when it happened, might be a death sentence if you are packed into a remote early fall Elk hunt, and need to walk many miles for help. Infection could set in, and kill somebody in hours depending on conditions.
Looks like the arrow fell off the rest, and had alot of overdraw.
Damn, that had to hurt.

Reminds me of a guy I kind of know locally... shot himself in the foot while on stand, had to call for help, 20 feet up a tree, and nailed down like Christ himself. Local cop, if I recall, limped around for months.

Damn, I bet that hurt for awhile. Hope he's gonna be ok. Probably fortunate it hasn't happened to me. Wonder what kind of rest or overdraw he was using.

might be safe to assume, some intern at whatever Emergency Room got it out of him.
I do not know for sure, but rule #1 for penetrating wounds, is to stabilize, and transport. Let someone with access to a surgical theater the opportunity to let all the blood out.
