Off to Africa (RSA) next Saturday for a 11 day hunt.

I going to do it! - first time bow hunter in Africa, first time anywhere. My equipment...

70# Matthews 2014 Chill-R dual cam set at 66#
Victory VAP-Xpert series 350 arrows - 125 gr field tips
6 Exodus broadheads 125 gr with heavy duty blades 1.25" cut
HHA Optimizer Lite Ultra Sight - single pin series

But, I should tell you, I'll be hunting with a gun as well....Cape buffalo, etc. 375 AI.

50% with the bow, 50% with the gun.

I'm excited. I hope I shoot well.

I got an impala on my first bow shot at an animal, but I still have much to learn. Most of the hunt was rifle, but I plan more bow hunting in the future.
