Juan,

There are many good makes of bows available in the US. The best way to buy one is to go to a pro shop (avoid large chain stores like Cabelas) and try SEVERAL different makes and models out and see which one fits you best. You will get personal service with a pro shop.

The shop staff will then set the chosen bow up with proper sights, rests and tune it with proper arrows for the weight you will pull as well as the correct draw length for you. You cannot do this with a mail order archery set up.

Everyone here can certainly make recommendations for their favorite bows and accessories. Just keep in mind what works for them may not work for you. You'll develope your own unique skills while using your equipment. One of the special things about archery is that it is a very personal sport. All of the equipment is fitted to you and in a way, becomes an extension of your body.

For water buffalo you'll need at least a 70 pound pull bow and a weighted arrow and suitable broadhead. I have killed bison with 60 pounds.
