Tomohawk broadhead

sroseTomohawk broadhead
Just thought you bow turkey hunters would like to hear how a Tomohawk broadhead works. I shot a Eastern Tom a couple of days ago with one and hit the bird in the shoulder. Knocked the bird down and out but arrow did not go through the shoulder socket. I was using a 65 lb Matthews bow and carbon arrows. About 15 minutes after shooting the bird we were setting up to take photos. I posed the bird and was getting ready to pose myself and the bird got up running. I had to chase him for 50 to 75 yards before both of us got hung up in briars. I got the bird. Wish we would have had video going when that bird came back to life.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.
