I used to do a lot of it in Ohio years ago. I sure miss it. I live in the eastern panhandle of WV now and we don't have the carp here. I remember taking over 1000# of carp in one day at East Harbor on Lake Erie. No frogs here either. I miss my frog legs.

Tbeasley1,
I am a huge bowfishing fan, and due lots of it here in Michigan. We shoot lots of carp and longnose gar around the great lakes area. Most of our shooting takes place at night, and boy due we ever slaughter the junk fish.
My buddies and I have wanted to go to Texas to try for huge Gator gar, but dont know much about them. May be we could work out a trade???

I've been known to stick a few carp.... but I'm by no means a serious bowfisherman. I just get bored from May to July.
