I wouldn't mind seeing it in action but, I have my doubts for sure. I've tried the colored lights for tracking and you cant see squat. The only lights I've been able to find that would make blood really stand out were the lights w/ very bright white beams like Stream Lights and UKs. Other than that a lantern works well. There used to be a company that made a blood trailing lantern that was quite handy and worked quite well. It was a horizontally held latern like a big flash light that had little propane tanks that went inside of it. Cant remember who made them but, I wish they were still around. Good Luck Reloader

go back and hit the link and watch the video. I thought it worked as well as my Coleman lantern and it's small enough to carry in your pocket

Use Razorcaps and you'll have no need for this damned contraption Just follow the paint trail!! "The atomic bomb made the prospect of future war unendurable. It has led us up those last few steps to the mountain pass; and beyond there is a different country." - J. Robert Oppenheimer

For $40 I think it is worth a shot. I am going to order one. I don't think it is a bad deal when you consider that a shurefire is over $100

I picked one up year before last to track after dark. I haven't personally used it but my bud has used it on two deer and found them both. He said it worked pretty well, and just using it around the barn on placed drops it appears to do the job quite well. I have used a Colman before and it worked very well, but as mentioned it was pretty bulky to haul around in the woods for an extended period. Mike / Tx

I purchased one right after they came out. They work just "ok". I still prefer my Surefire over the carnivore. Learn from Yesterday Live in Today Live for Tomorrow!

I have the small blood light from Primos. Very handy tracking blood at night... Gerhard FFF Safaris Capture Your African Moments Hunting Outfitter (MP&LP) Proffesional Hunter (MP&LP) History guide Wildlife Photographer www.fffsafaris.co.za
