How do I measure to find my correct draw length?

I don't know why no one answered this. I don't have the answer, but I think you can find it online. IIRC, you measure draw length by having someone hole a yard-stick against your breastbone, then you extend your arms out as far as you can an mark where your fingertips touch. Don't quote me on that, as I really have no idea what I'm talking about. One thing I am pretty sure about: it is better to have a bow with a draw length that is too short rather than too long. Draw a full length arrow with the bow you intend to shoot. After you are at full draw Have someone mark the arrow shaft at the front of the riser of the bow. Measure the arrow from the "bottom" of the nock groove to the mark you just made. That is your draw length. It may increase a bit as you shoot more & get stronger, & as your string stretches (if you have a new bow/string). Better to cut new arrows a bit long (a half inch or so) if you are a new shooter or have a new bow.
