Well, it was a quick hunt but I can still get a doe. Set my tree stand up pulled the face mask on and looked at my watch 6 PM. When I looked up there he was at 30 yds. walking down the trail I had come in on. Very strange he came right at me in my own footsteps, at 10 yds he stopped and looked away. I drew and put it between his shoulder blades.Hope all of you have the same type of hunt this year.

Sorry guys no pics. The area I'm hunting is a management hunt(corps of engineers) and they take the jaw so I didn't bring the camera. He was a typical with 4" G-1.Not a monster but with a bow I was happy.

Good deal Rob... sounds like a real nice buck. I've been huntin' hard for three weeks here in PA and have only seen two bucks. We have a 3 point to one main beam harvest restriction, so only one would have been a legal deer. The bad thing was that the big buck never offered me a clear shot. Looking back at my odds on antlers, I should probably just call RMiller and ask about getting a date with his girlfriend. After all, that's a dang nice rack in anybodys book. Super nice.
