I use a high country machined supreme with gold tip hunter arrows and 3 blade fixed broadheads.
The details aren't pretty. First hit was barely more than a flesh wound on the inside of the front leg but it left a blood trail that I followed for 1.5 hours till dark then the next morning I followed it another hour. Until the moose stood up 20 yards away and I was able to get a better shot.
I had never followed a trail for so long but all came out good in the end.
The moose was a fork horn .
