nice bow Gerhard. My Monster 7 is a 60-70lb 30" draw as well. I drug out my old Hoyt AlphaTec to get back shooting, after a two year layoff. I shouldn't tell how a 31" 2713 target arrow shot. Smooth and accurate, but not much speed at 50lbs. 213fps. Next trip to SA we need to get together (you and Reon and I) and see if I can keep up with you two for weight and speed and accuracy.

How far from Steenbokpan? That and Ellisras are what I know in that area. August/September I assume...

The main concession is about 120 miles south west from Ellisras.

With the late rain we are having right now....

August depending on the moon phase would be a good time. Wink

We pulled the game camera out of the veld due to all the rain. As soon as this rain is gone I will start posting some of the visitors again...

What are you shooting for arrows?
And weight and speed.

DRSS

I am making progress on the long road back to shooting a hunting weight bow accurately. I bumped the Alpha-Tec to 55 yesterday. Two more weeks to 60 and a start.

Rich,

I am shooting Carbon Express Maxima Hunters 350 cut at 30 inches.

They weigh 450gr with a 125gr broad head.

With the Destroyer I get 303 fps.

I am used to shooting my 80# Tribute.

When I shot on Saturday I was amazed at how smooth this bow is but also how silent....

If I do my part the bow print the arrows where I want them even at 60 yards.

Now I need to draw some blood with the M'Bogo.

When are you coming to hunt Rich? Wink

I just got an Email from Trophex with the estimated Taxidermy bill for last month's two weeks with African Barefoot Safari's. I may be riding a bicycle the next six weeks or so.

Good thought...
