Fine job on a great impala.

Doesn't seem like much of a hunt when you sit by a water hole and wait for them to come drink. How far from the water hole was it?

The nearest water from that tree is 1 mile.

As opposed to sitting on a bear bait and waiting on the bear to come eat or sitting on a food plot and waiting on the deer to appear or sitting on a game trail and waiting for an animal to walk by. Bowhunting is generally conducted via ambush. That's the nature of the game.
