After a tune up buy the shop to 52lbs. At the range shooting 2 doz. shots the bow gets harder to draw till it becomes very hard 70lbs.. I was told two cam styles are known to do this. A new solo cam style has over come this. At this time I'm going to contact the bow maker for advice. I'm new to the sport.
Has this been a problem for any of you?
Thanks

Stop shooting it immediately!

I would suspect a broken strand in the bow string or cables. A bowstring with a broken strand can stretch enough to cause the peak weight to increase.

It's just a matter of time before something breaks if it's doing that!
