I needed something to hold the practice arrows, so i made this out of a piece of 2" drain pipe with a cap on it. It is held up by a "grave wreath holder" just drill a hole in at top of pipe and put through the wreath hook. Not a very good picture, but i think the camo paint came out pretty good. First, you use enamel reducer or paint thinner to wipe down the outside of the pipe. Then let it evaporate, and paint the whole outside with Olive Drab. Then i chose a assortment of leaves, pine needles, and vines. Held individual ones against the tube and sprayed heavy mist of either flat black or dark brown. That way, the original green color will be the color of the leaves and outlined by the darker shades. It's much easier to do if you have a flat surface. But i'm very fascinated by camo and like to experiment doing it different ways. Plinker | ||
