i have one of those inexpensive x-bow pistols an i've been toying with idea of trying to get another steel limb an cut it down and stick it behind the original one..... that should make it about 100# pull x-bow pistol...... any thoughts or info?

My dad many years ago made his own. He used the coil springs from under a car hood, straightened them and heat treated. The pistol would go through a 2x4...it was before cross bows were considered legal and the cops made him dismantle it.
