Did you ever know Mike Palmer or Earle Bateman?

Yep Used to trade broaadheads with Mike Palmer and even have some heads made
Bought stuff from Earle B via mail but never met him.

knew Cutter Cunningham who I think used to work for him Took me coon bowhunting in San Angelo in 1954 and befriended a 13 yo Kid ( me)

Used to buy my bows & arrows from Arch Gassman in San Antonio TX when ever I came to Texas as a teen & young man. He had a shop on Frederisckburg Road not far from Woodlawn Lake, San Antonio- where I lived as a Kid when Dad was in Korea.

5th generation Texan as you know. Proud of my roots here. I can die happy I am now home at last

Capt. Jack - Is Mike Palmer still in Sabinal and is he still making his great recurves? Haven't seen or heard from Mike in almost four years now I guess. He used to venture back out to Colorado every once in a while. I used to Rep for Bateman back a lot of years ago, Stanley Hips as well. Later.

Jack - Sorry my nickname isn't dee, actually I don't have a nickname as far as I know. I live in New Mexico elk country, if you ever have questions about elk let me know. Have you hunted at Mikes' place in Texas? I'll have to give him a call and get more details. Thanks for the contact information. Later

Larry

Larry- there was a fella named Dee Sellers who shot in Unlimited Pro throught the 70s - into the 80s. I never knew Dee's real first name. I thought you might have been him...

No I haven't had a chance to hunt FirstPoint yet- but I sure want to get out there.
