Boss Kongoni has offered sound advice. One of the all time best investments I've made for my bowhunting was to buy and study the book, "Idiot Proof Archery", by Bernie Pellerite. I'm sure there are other books as good or better, and I would think a real live coach couldn't be beat. My point is that the thousand dollar plus bow upgrade I made a couple of years ago didn't make me a better shot. I needed help learning proper form and technique. I would estimate that I shoot over 10,000 arrows a summer practicing what I have learned. The result has been two elk, a deer and a bear over the past two years, not to mention various small game. I've finally learned to shoot acurately and consistently.

I also sold archery equipment in the 90's, so I do know a little about the topic.
