Folks, Here is another option for a great arctic adventure for Musk Ox in Canada. These hunts are a bit more physically demanding than our Greenland Musk Ox hunts.









You will ride out about 100 miles and hunt from a tented camp. which is warmed by a stove and is pretty toasty. But you are still hunting in the arctic!

Price per person $6,800 for 1 trophy musk ox.

Duration is four (4) hunting days, with two (2) days travel. Musk ox hunts are conducted by snowmobile from mid-March to April 30.

The cost includes service of a licensed Inuvialuk Guide; travel to and from the hunt site by snowmobile. Accommodations and meals are provided during the hunt. Sleeping bags are provided. It is possible to also take wolf and wolverine on this hunt providing the hunter has purchased the necessary tags. A harvest fee is payable after the taking of the trophy.
The success rate on these hunts is normally 100% on the Musk Ox. Wolf and wolverine are targets of opportunity.

General Information on Hunts:
· Best route to get there. Fly from Edmonton to Yellow Knife to Inuvik, where the outfitter will meet you to drive to base camp in Tuktoyaktuk, NT
· All hunting trips originate and finish in Tuktoyaktuk, NT
· All hunts are over when the trophy is taken or at the specified duration.
· All hunts have communication via SBX-11A Radios and Satellite Phonespot messenger


The price does not include:
· Transfer by road from Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk, NT $300
· Accommodations either before or after the hunt if necessary $100/night
· Tag and Harvest Fee (see below)
· Personal items such as appropriate Arctic outdoor clothing (parkas, insulated pants, footwear) - gear can be rented
· Alcoholic beverages and gratuities
· Cancellation insurance and or medical services.
· Goods and Service Tax 5% GST on cost of the hunt

· Taxidermy charges to prepare your trophy for shipment home or final taxidermy

*A tag is required to hunt the specific animal. The government harvest fee is payable after taking of the trophy.


Payment Terms:

Musk Ox – a non-refundable deposit of $2,500 is required to book the hunt, balance 60 days before the hunt. A second musk-ox tag is available for $1,500.00. Payment is due at time of booking.
