You can only hunt Obama baboons in Kenya, where they're a native species.

We have 25000 acres of our own property and two large concessions totaling a further 60000 acres. Haaspoort Lodge (our base) is on a game fenced (high fence) private game reserve of 6000 acres. We have property adjoining this and further a field that is low fenced. We have an excellent mix of terrain that supports large populations of animals suited to the different habitats.

Victor,
You are absolutely correct, and I apologize for hijacking your thread.
What's the biggest waterbuck you hunted this year?

We do have availability from 24 November until 7 December 2012. We can hunt 2 hunters on 1 PH but if you're 3 hunters I'll arrange for another PH to hunt with us.

Thanks for your message. What method do you use to judge trophies? We measure in both SCI and Rowland Ward but we normally estimate in Rowland Ward. I find it difficult to give an average size animal because every client has different expectations and hunts for different reasons. There's no pressure from us to shoot a specific animal, we'll advise a client on horn length if he requests us too and he/she has the option to hold out and hunt on for a bigger trophy if he has higher expectations. Cape Kudu - 46 to 52 inches Rowland Ward (SCI 110-130) is common. Gemsbok - 35 to 40 inches Rowland Ward (SCI 82-88) is common. Eland - 31 to 34 inches Rowland Ward (SCI 77-82). Eland is a very difficult Rowland Ward because the older bulls fight and use their horns to break branches. Because SCI measures the circumference of the horn base, it's a more fair method in this species. Bushbuck 13 to 16 inches Rowland Ward (SCI 31-37).

Thanks

No problem, I have family that live in the Ohio and know how big the upcoming election is gonna be.

I haven't hunted Waterbuck this year but have heard of guys taking 29-31 inches (Rowland Ward, longest horn) this year in the two concessions where we hunt them. We don't have Waterbuck on our properties.

Great trophy prices, especially for Kudu and Gemsbok.

Mr Watson,
I have just gone through your post.
Would you also have any bird shooting available?
If so, could you give me some details for the 2013 season.
Regards
Arjun
