I volunteer at a state park here in south-central New Mexico, and one of our campers is certain he saw a jaguarundi while walking his dog. If so, it's a rare sight! But cats are cats, eh?

Jaguarundi's are really neat critters, they are almost like a combination of a cat and a weasel. There is a small population here in south Texas.

Even the rocks don't last forever.

I had heard they tame down like a housecat if young.

The jaguarundi lives only around water doesn't it? I have heard that is their chosen environment. I believe they are fish catchers. Kind of an otter cat?
