Just bought a Crosman 2240 .22 C02 pellet pistol. Surprisingly accurate out of the box and already ordered a steel breech and 14-inch replacement barrel. Should be even more fun.
Try one and you might just find it like Lay's potato chips.

Not necessarily cheap. Of the 6 air rifles I own, the cheapest cost $1250 plus another $400 for the scope. Most cost greater than $2000 unscoped. Not your average BB gun. Luckily ammo is cheap!!!

I have 6 Daystate PCP's, 5 in .22 and 1 in .303. 3 of them are electronic computer controlled with 3oz pull electronic triggers and 3 are mechanically driven. All shoot 1/2" groups at 50 yards. I fill the onboard air reservoir/tanks to 3000-3200psi. The .22's get about 55-65 shots per gun fill, the .303 gets 12, but at twice the power. All have silencers so shot noise is minimal. Google Daystate and the website shows the various models. I moved to SC last year. I am moving to south GA next month( bought a small 70 acre tree farm/ woodlands with a nice house and pond)

Jerry, congratulations on the 70-acre piece. Hope you can hunt your own bobwhites on it. The Daystates are indeed spectacular air rifles.

there are a few coveys but much more deer, turkeys, and wood ducks on the pond- plus the usual coons, lots of squirrels, and possums.
