Sika deer in southern England
Gents, no idea why these aren’t displaying on here but in south England a big population of free range Nippon Sika ( Japanese) have lived since their 1890 release by Queen Victoria when she was given some as a gift by the Emperor of Japan.

We hunt them during October when are rutting as easier to get a trophy stag then. Stags are normally 8 points and often break the tips whilst fighting which they love to do!

Here is one I took the other week. An injury to his leg caused his opposite antler to go abnormal.
