Interesting -- I found pretty much the same pattern. No name, hand built. Grip on mine looks like Black Walnut. No tong tube, not the detailed lamination in the hilt. And it's not near the finish quality shown here. Nice, heavy sheath, although not tooled like this one.

Ahhhhhhh, but I got it for $10 out the door.

This item is much nicer, and I don't mean to "compare" -- just that I got a nice deal on the one I found.
