Yesterday was my birthday + in today's mail I received a book from an old friend from college. Several years ago I had sent him one of my copies of T.E. Lawrence's book, "The 7 pillars of Wisdom". Roy sent me a 1st edition 1924 of "With Lawrence In Arabia" by Lowell Thomas. I'm looking forward to the read.

Great. T E Lawrence was an interesting person. Always wanted some litterature by him.

Agree. Lawrence was an anomaly in this world on many fronts. A fascinating person.

My lucky day, again. Today at the P.O. I received a book from another old college friend. A 1st edition, 1943 copy of "Guadacanal Diary" by Richard Tregaskis. I am looking forward to quarantining reading in style. Jens, on occasion Amazon, has some vintage copies of "7 pillars of Wisdom". That is another book that is well worth the read.
