I hope and pray that this passes. I have been wanting to get a suppressor but wanted to wait until this hopefully passes. Bu the question is, do you think it has an actual chance?

I went to lunch today with the local NRA guy assigned to me. He think there is a good chance it will pass.

Anything in motion still to try and pass this? Before I have a few suppressors in lockup for a year waiting

I hope it will pass, but I haven’t been waiting to order suppressors. I just received 4 after a 13 month wait.

The GOP's best chance to introduce pro-gun legislation was during 2016-18. They failed to push the bills then and are more likely to be wasting their time now. They could have also tried to rein in Trump on his first gun grab (bump stocks) and push back on his "take the guns 1st, due process 2nd" tripe, but they failed to do so.

Now that they have split control of Congress with the Democrats, they can accuse them of standing in the way of pro-gun bills instead of taking the lead.

The GOP does not really concern themselves with 2nd amendment issues anymore. Back home in Washington state I have learned to cultivate relationships with the rural Democrats to get pro-gun legislation introduced and passed. The pro-Trump (RINO) GOP is nearly dead on pro-gun bills.
