Not for backpacking...weight not a big concern....comfort is. What is/where to get the best most durable air mattress for under a sleeping bag for camping. Lane, if weight and space aren't an issue, skip the air mattress and get a cot pad from Cabela's (or wherever). I use one for sleeping on a large cot, ground, floor, pickup bed, whatever. I am looking too and appreciate this post. I had back surgery 2 years ago and its been tough finding a good camp bed. The days of throwing a 3 inch thick foam pad on the ground is loooong gone | |||
