When will your state post the drawing results for deer, elk, and antelope?

As I have drawn ZERO tags so far, I am running out of options!

they pretty much only draw for special stuff like moose, sheep, and the like.

be aware that their favorite ploy is to over sell units that are on winter range knowing full well there won't be any animals there during hunting season.

their second favorite is to oversell units that border [or sit in-between] huge chunks of private property knowing full well that the hunters themselves will push the animals into the private land.
but a small percentage will be successful because of the dumb young ones not moving soon enough.

other than that [shrug] I just pick a unit and buy what I want over the counter.

They said the LE draw would be towards the end of June. I hoping.....

I drew a decent unit 2 years back and hope to do so again. However, the odds are slim.

Idaho has so much potential.

we have high hunter numbers and about as many out of state hunters.
IDFG does their best to get people out in the field, and that comes with a cost.
the main one is mainly low animal numbers in the popular spots [you know the ones that pop up on the google machines]

I'm done down in my corner of the state.

I know pretty much every square inch of the mountains between I-15 and Wyoming from the Utah border up to Idaho Falls.
I have zero confidence in finding a half way decent deer in any of it.

A big "Un" for me, me son, and my dad.

A cow elk hunt in Utah is it for this year.
