DD, I for one had not heard that Roy Rogers story. Probably because his show was off the airwaves before I was old enough to pay attention. (I was born in October, 1976, a bicentennial baby! ) Still, I did manage to absorb some of the folklore growing up, and that is a refreshing tale (tail ).
