You're absolutely right. I could hear almost no lag between the sound of the release and the thwack of the bolt breaking ribs at 30 yrds. It felt and acted so much like a gun compared to the recurved bows I use 35 yr.s ago I guessed and was WAY off.

Wasn't cutting you down. I know exactly how you feel. I used to shoot a Pearson Flame at about 200. Bought a BowTech and am getting about 280. Sure makes a difference.
