What exactly do you want to know ??

I am going hunting with the man that was in charge of the hunting there for MANY years.

Now he organize his own hunts and I have hunted with him during the last three years in a row.

He is a good friend of mine so I can ask him whatever you want to know, he is straight as an arrow !!

Never been there and my friend is fly fishing trouts at this moment.

I believe that the hunting there must be good. I know that in the past was a very good place for trophy stags, then it seems they were harvesting too much stags per year and the quality went a little bit down, but this happened some years ago so I think they must have learned from their experience. I am talking just from stories I have heard, not by personal experience.

I know that they also have a big enclosure, that is always a good option for the "trophy" hunters Big Grin

La Pampa is big and stags roam free mostly everywhere but with this drought I don't know how much has suffer the antler quality and the deer movement, it' is really terrible the drought we are suffering (Uruguay and Argentina).

I just took a look at their web page, funny to still see my friend in many of their pictures since he has not been working there for some years.

I repeat, the most important thing is to see how much the drought has impacted on the deer quality.

One thing is sure, if this hot weather continues it will be better to go the last ten days of march, not before, the stags will need some cold before start roaring..

I'm going earlier because I want some moon to be able to wack some piggies.. Big Grin

I will want to see if any of our argentinians members give us fresh news about the situation down there for the next rut season.

I have re read my previous answer and I think is not fair from my part giving an opinion about their red satgs quality right now as I don't have idea.

I don't want to mislead anyone, I heard yes that several years ago there was some discussion about selling too much hunts but this has happened several years ago, I will ask some questions here and there to see if I can find first hand info for you.

Lorenzo said it pretty well... Poitahue is still good alternative, depending of course on which are your expectations Wink
