joesterCapybera & white-lipped peccary : Where to go?
These are my 2 top quarry for a S. America hunt...Reccomendations for an area with good populations of both?
Are they exportable to USA ?
Also, can the Giant Peccary be hunted? Exportable?
Thanks very much...

billrquimbyDon't know if you can get an export permit for Chacoan (giant) peccaries from Argentina, Paraguay or Bolivia, where they occur. They are listed on CITES Appendix I and as Endangered by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
It's my understanding that capybara and white-lipped peccaries can be hunted legally in Argentina, but don't know if export permits are needed or if USFWS allows trophies to be imported.

Bharal76joester -
You will not be able to legally export the trophies from Argentina.
Chacoan peccari is not huntable, as far as I'm aware.
Try mexico (yukatan). Not sure if you will be able to obtain cites for them and if you will be able to import them into US, but I belive it might be the only alternative.
