Am going down in April. What voltage is standard down there? Can I bring a battery charger or electric razor?

PhoenixdawgBasically Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama and Venezuela have 110V AC whilst most others have 220V AC. However, always check before using any appliance. If unsure, set voltage to 240 and avoid burnouts.
I went last May 2006 and did not have a converter. Was easy enough to get the necessary converters while in Argentina.

Grizzly AdamsI picked up a little book called "Pocket Ref" by Thomas Glover last year. It list all the voltages by country and also gives the plug in types. Handy little book for just about everything you might need to know on the spur of the moment.

HARDBALLERWalmart carries them for about 20 bucks in their electronic department. Make sure you pick up one that can hook up electronics like computers. They carried 2 different ones. Price difference was very little. It came with adapters that are good all over the world.

nainitalJim Kobe: now I see the previous post, you are hunting with Jorge "El Indio" Noya, in all probability in San Eduardo I, at La Pampa Province. If all goes well, I´ll be hunting in an estancia which has a common fence with San Eduardo, perhaps we´ll meet there. ¡Good luck!

Jim KobeWe will be hunting with Jorge Robles' safaris and have been promised transfers in EZE to the feeder airport. From there we go to Sant Rosa I believe.
