Hi guys. I'm trying to set up a trip to Argentina for Stag and Buff for next year and I want to use muzzle loaders.

I've never been there before. How hard is it to come up with powder and caps there?

Is real black powder available in Argentina? That would be ideal as I could use a flint lock for the Stag and Boar.

The outfitter is trying to make arrangements to have it available for me, but I figured it can't hurt to also look into it myself.

MUZZLELOADERS ARENT REGULATED IN ARGENTINA ,YOU CAN HUNT WITH THEM BUT THERE ARE VERY FEW ITEMS REGARDING THIS ISSUE YOU MUST BRING ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT WITH YOU .

Yeah, that's the problem. I can't bring any powder or caps with me.

I've seen old posts where people talk about taking animals with muzzle loaders there. So I know that powder of some sort is available............somewhere. I just can't find where.

I confirm that u will have to bring ur own stuff. We have received e several blackpowder hunters and we will continue on this way. One our last hunters from jim shockey adv killed a huge waterbuffalo.... Possible world record. Check last jimbo's newsletter.
